Hanson will donate $1.00 for each mile walked for all walks registered with TakeTheWalk.net. That means if 200 people participate in a one mile walk, $200 is donated by Hanson to the category the walk was geared towards. The overall goal is to collaboratively walk the distance around the world, being 24,902 miles.

Buy Tampax/Always brand

Tampax/Always brand is working with HERO to take action and provide for Africa. The Protecting Futures program is providing sanitary pads, funding a health, hygiene and puberty education program and building classrooms, dorms, toilets and wash stations. They are also providing desks, chairs, uniforms and school meals. Tampax and Always are funding a four-kilometer long pipeline from the nearest water point to a local primary school in a remote region of Southern Africa

 
School Supplies for DD Dliwayo
The schools in Africa are very poor, and supplies are so scarce that the students actually break pencils in half so that there are enough to go around. Jessica Bonzek, an inspiring young woman, is collecting school supplies for the DD Dliwayo school in South Africa. There are 1500 students in the school and her goal is to send at least one pen or pencil for each student.

Purchase Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipgloss at M.A.C. Viva Glam lip gloss sales have funded 11 new grants from the M·A·C AIDS Fund aimed at preventing the spread of HIV among young people, ages 15-24, who account for approximately half of all new infections.  Read more at macaidsfund.org.

Make Aids History
Make Aids History is a small organization started by a young woman named Natalina Wanda, in 2005. Nataline, originally from Sudan, was living in Norway when she decided to focus on what she felt was most important, helping the women and children of Africa and its surrounding countries where Aids is most common. The main goal of Make Aids History is to build a new hospital in Natalina's homeland of Sudan. The site offers an assortment of products available for purchase, with all proceeds going towards their cause.

Check out joinred.com to view (RED) products you can purchase from Dell, Microsoft, Apple, Emporio Armani, American Express, Converse, Gap, Starbucks and Hallmark. 50% of the profit from the (RED) merchandise is donated to buy and distribute antiretroviral medicine to those dying of AIDS in Africa.
