Hanson will donate $1.00 for each mile walked for all walks registered with TakeTheWalk.net. That means if 200 people participate in a one mile walk, $200 is donated by Hanson to the category the walk was geared towards. The overall goal is to collaboratively walk the distance around the world, being 24,902 miles. 

The Following information has been obtained from TakeTheWalk.net. If you plan to participate in any of these walks, please follow the link under starting location to verify the start time and that the date has not changed. Dates without links are not yet confirmed walks. Visit TakeTheWalk.net to see how many miles have been walked so far and the status of the goals for each of the five causes: access to medical care, medical treatment, shoes, clean water and education.
